Practical guide to choosing between an electric strike and an electromagnetic lock
Practical guide to help technicians choose between an electric strike and an electromagnetic lock depending on the door type, …
Hands-on training to install and commission standalone access control, time attendance and parking solutions. It covers 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz readers, Wiegand, OSDP, PoE IP controllers, fail-safe/fail-secure mechanics, power supplies, biometric time clocks, IP video door phones and acceptance testing.

This level 1 training presents the components of an access control and time attendance system: readers, badges, controllers, door peripherals and power supplies. It explains how to choose fail-safe or fail-secure door hardware and how to size power supplies and batteries.
Participants wire a standalone door and an IP door fitted with a Wiegand or OSDP reader. They create users, apply time schedules and commission a multi-station IP video intercom solution.
Hands-on practice includes a biometric time clock with enrolment and CSV export, as well as parking access with a controller, reader and barrier. Full commissioning includes opening and closing tests, RTE emergency exits and a documented acceptance test log.
