Practical guide to choosing between an electric strike and an electromagnetic lock
Practical guide to help technicians choose between an electric strike and an electromagnetic lock depending on the door type, …
Hands-on training to deploy and administer a centralized, multi-door, multi-site access control system. It covers servers, databases, OSDP/RS-485 controllers, turnstiles, interlocking SAS airlocks, elevators, access profiles, online/offline operation, alarm and video integrations, logs, test scenarios and acceptance documentation.

This level 2 training explains the architecture of a centralized system made up of a server, a database, client workstations and multi-door controllers. Participants install the software, create a site and check event reporting.
The programme addresses OSDP and RS-485 buses, online and offline modes, turnstiles and pedestrian barriers, as well as two-door airlocks with interlock. It also includes elevator management by access profiles and floor authorizations.
Hands-on practice adds a second site, an alarm input and a camera associated with a door. Scenarios are tested on door, turnstile, airlock and elevator mock-ups, then documented in an acceptance test covering access, logs and video events.
• Explain and implement a centralized access control architecture.
• Deploy and configure multi-door controllers with OSDP or RS-485 buses.
• Commission turnstiles and pedestrian barriers integrated with access control.
• Design and configure a double-door airlock or interlock.
• Implement elevator management by floor and multi-floor profiles.
• Configure a multi-site solution.
• Integrate access control with an alarm and video surveillance.
• Carry out the acceptance test and produce documentation for a centralized system.
• Low-current systems and SSI technicians with level 1 or an equivalent level.
• Integrators and installers already active in the field.
Have a basic knowledge of electricity, some notions of IP networking and knowledge of access control systems.
