Overview
This training studies the architecture of an LCD/LED screen: power supply, backlight, logic board, T-CON board and panel. Participants learn to link observed symptoms to the different functional blocks.
The hands-on work covers switch-mode power supplies, fuses, capacitors, diodes and MOSFETs, then the testing and replacement of LED bars and their drivers. Logic and T-CON boards are tested with different video sources in order to isolate the origin of a fault.
Hands-on practice covers typical cases: dead screen, flashing image, no backlight, incorrect colors, and vertical or horizontal lines. The final workshop includes diagnosing several screens, validating repairs and writing an intervention report.
Objectives
Understand the architecture of an LED screen and the role of its main blocks.
Diagnose common faults: no power-on or backlight, flashing image and abnormal colors.
Repair switch-mode screen power supplies by replacing faulty components.
Test and replace LED bars and backlight drivers.
Identify faults related to the panel or the T-CON board and guide the repair decision.
Who should attend
